Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Joshua Tan, a sole proprietor operating as Pawspective ("we", "us"), governing your use of the Pawspective iOS app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Pawspective lets you submit short videos of your dog and receive a personalized training review prepared by a qualified human trainer, plus a follow-up chat with that trainer. Reviews are educational dog-training guidance only. They are not veterinary, medical, or behavioral-health advice. For health concerns, consult a licensed veterinarian.
2. How reviews work
You submit a video (up to the in-app length limit). A human trainer reviews it and delivers a written report. After a report is delivered, you can exchange follow-up messages with your trainer for 7 days, after which the chat closes.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- The Service is offered as an auto-renewable subscription: Monthly Membership at $29.99/month or Annual Membership at $249.00/year (prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase).
- Each membership includes up to 5 video reviews per week. Unused reviews do not roll over.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions), or via the in-app manage-subscription link.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we do not separately process App Store refunds.
5. Acceptable use and your content
You may submit only content you have the right to share. You must not submit content that is unlawful, that depicts animal cruelty or abuse, or that infringes others' rights or privacy. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive conduct of any kind.
We provide tools to report messages and to block/close a conversation within the app. We may review, remove, or refuse content, and close conversations, where we believe these Terms have been violated. To report content or conduct, use the in-app report action or email joshua@ephr.ai.
6. License to your content
You keep ownership of the videos and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use your content solely to provide the Service to you — including review by our trainers. If, and only if, you explicitly opt in at account deletion, you also grant us a license to retain and use de-identified copies of your videos and analyses to train our staff and improve our reviews, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Account deletion and data retention
You can delete your account in-app at any time and choose either a full purge or an optional de-identified contribution of your videos, as described in the Privacy Policy. We retain purchase and billing records for 5 years as required by law; this is the only content retained after a full purge.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Dog training is inherently variable; we do not guarantee any particular training outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joshua Tan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a revised effective date and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Pre-launch website & waitlist
This section covers our pre-launch website at launch.ephr.ai (the "Site") — the waitlist and dog-profile builder that preceded the Pawspective iOS app. It is kept here so earlier Site visitors and waitlist subscribers continue to have terms covering their use. The app-specific sections above (§1–§12) govern the iOS app.
13.1 The Site
The Site is a pre-launch landing page that lets dog owners join a waitlist and build a dog profile by uploading short training video clips. Features described on the Site may change before general availability.
13.2 Eligibility (Site)
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use the Site. By using the Site you confirm that you meet this requirement.
13.3 Your account and submissions (Site)
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your email address, your dog's Instagram handle, and your dog's details. Keep your contact details current so we can reach you about launch.
13.4 Content you upload (Site)
You retain ownership of the video clips and other content you upload to the Site ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display it for the purpose of operating the waitlist and building your dog's profile. You represent that:
- You own or have the right to upload Your Content.
- Your Content does not infringe anyone else's rights or any law.
- Your Content features your own dog and does not contain harmful, unlawful, or offensive material.
We may remove any content that breaches these Terms.
13.5 Acceptable use (Site)
You agree not to misuse the Site. In particular, you must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying systems.
- Upload malware, or interfere with the operation or security of the Site.
- Use automated means to scrape, overload, or abuse the waitlist or upload endpoints.
- Submit false information or impersonate another person.
13.6 Intellectual property (Site)
The Site, its design, branding, text, and graphics are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission, except for Your Content.
13.7 Early access and offers (Site)
Any "free early access" or founding-member offer described on the Site is a pre-launch intention and may be subject to change, availability, and additional terms at launch. It does not create a binding obligation to provide a particular service or pricing.
13.8 Disclaimers (Site)
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any future product will launch on any particular date.
13.9 Limitation of liability (Site)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
13.10 Termination (Site)
We may suspend or remove your access to the Site, or remove your submission, at any time if you breach these Terms or for any operational reason.
